Owl is a classic member of the Pooh gang from A.A.
Milne's books. He is a wise old owl who is another
of Winnie the Pooh's friends. Owl is always
telling stories about his relatives.
Owl,
like Rabbit and Gopher, is a living animal, and not a
stuffed one come to life. Rabbit tells him at one
point, "You and I have brains. The others have
fluff."
He
lived in a tree known as The Chestnuts, but it was
destroyed by a storm in one of the stories. So now
Owl lives in the Wolery, which was formerly Piglet's
home.
Being the wisest of the Pooh gang, Owl is usually called
upon by the others for his eloquent words of wisdom.

sources say that Craig Ferguson will voice Owl in
the upcoming Pooh movie in 2011. |
